Movement Laboratories
In our Tango Laboratory, we bring psychological work and guided tango practice into one process. Starting with a consultation, we identify your focus and use movement to explore familiar patterns, experiment with new responses and reflect on their relevance to your life.

Our work begins with what you want to change. In your consultation, we identify a focus for exploration: this might involve self-confidence, responding to uncertainty, making decisions or recognising a recurring pattern in your life.
We then bring that focus into guided tango practice. Working together, our consultant and tango practitioner create opportunities to notice your responses and experiment with alternatives. Your observations become part of our ongoing psychological work, helping us shape the next step and explore how the experience relates to everyday life.
The dance provides the setting. Your individual goals shape the work.
Progress in movement does not automatically translate into psychological change. We explore that connection through guided practice and psychological reflection.

Tango masterclasses
We’re developing a series of masterclasses that bring psychological insight and tango practice together. Each will explore a specific theme through conversation, guided movement and questions for reflection, created in collaboration with movement practitioners.
Full masterclasses will be available through membership.
